Action > Restart
The action starts the AddCon function for optimizing certain schedule actions, mostly the stressing actions of stay cables for achieving a specified limit stressing state in the superstructure.
Note: At least one Additional Constraint must have been specified in the menu Schedule > Additional Constraints for using this action.
The action calculates the required factors for all load cases defined as "variable load case" in the menu Schedule > Additional Constraints > Loads in order to keep the specified result values within the specified limits.

| In the case of non-linear optimization, the action calculates the whole schedule several times till the constraint conditions are fulfilled within the specified tolerance. In order to avoid the recalculation of previous stages, the action Store can be used for placing labeled locks at appropriate positions in the schedule. If this label is assigned to the action Restart, the iterative recalculation is started at that point, i. e. the previous state is considered in the optimization process as a fixed initial state. | |||||||||
